LUCREHULK-CLASS BATTLESHIP -- "Souped Up Textures" Version

LUCREHULK-CLASS BATTLESHIP

This is my first upload to the platform, and I'm very excited to show ArtStation what I've been up to. So, what's going on here?
I downloaded Admiral Tributon's "Lucrehulk Class Battleship V1" model, graciously uploaded to Sketchfab for free. While I adore the level of detail and the hard work clearly evident in the base model, the textures weren't quite cutting it for me.
For the first time, I found myself needing to design custom normal and emissive maps to really add some more oomph to the model - and I'm really happy with how things turned out!
As a cherry on top, I also designed (from scratch) procedural hangar bay shield shaders, which are only barely visible in picture 1. I'll post a more high quality animated version at a later time.
Lastly, I designed the world shader (starfield/nebulae) myself, and attempted to give the picture some more depth via a volume scatter node - as if the massive cruisers are slowly pushing their way through the nebula.
